| RECYCLING PLASTIC BOTLES CAMPAIGN IN BITOLA |
Municipality of Bitola and Biosfera as an environmental NGO, with financial support of USAID RECYCLING PROJECT initiate campain for collecting platisc botles in Bitola.
Campain has 2 parts: Information and education and 2nd - setting up a model for collecting plastic botles.

| EUROPEAN DAY WITHOUT CAR |
Biosfera in cooperation with Macedonian Ministry for environment has organized a special event to promote this day. The MOTO of the event was CLEAN AIR FOR ALL.
At the manifestation attend Mayor of Bitola Mr. Vladimir Taleski and representatives from the Macedonian ministry for environment and Office for public communication guided by Ms. Sonja Lepitkova - Deputy Minister for environment.

| AARHUS INFO POINT IN BITOLA |
As a result of the work of the Aarhus family NGO network, the first Aarhus info point will be open in Bitola on 11.09.2008.
The office with office equipment is donation from the local Municipality of Bitola. Computer equipment, access to Internet, office materials and volunteers that will work are members of Biosfera.

| BIOSFERA IN HAMBURG |
Project "Learning partnership - from region to region" is partnership between Biosfera and ANU organization from Hamburg, Germany.
First activity was study visit to German NGO where bridge for communication is established.
Study visit was possibility to lear about principles of functioning and implementation of the Agenda 21.
In October group from Germany will visit Macedonia and discuss about long term future cooperation.

| PROGRAM ACTIVITY OF THE PROMOTION OF THE PHYLANTROPY PROJECT |
In cooperation with Youth Roma in Action NGO from Bitola, Biosfera organize action for cleaning the yard of the House for children without parents.
Activities were also taken in preparation of the teren for planting the gras.
Program activity will continue with promotion of the philantropy and taking actions for fundraising for other priorities related to greening the public areas in urban part of the city. ...

In the frame of the project "Protection of the Water Buffalos as an endangered species" representatives of the Association for Water Buffalo protection and Biosfera visited the Milk Factory "Fejzi" in Gostivar.
It is agreed to make the tests of the milk in the milk factory laboratiry and after that to see possibilities for future cooperation.

In the village of Debreshte, meeting between representatives of the Water Buffalo breeders, GEF SGP program, Biosfera NGO and "Fejzi" - milk factori interested in Water Buffalo milk, is set up.
The main point of the meeting was possibility for creating a model for economic and social benefit from Water Bufalo breeding and milk production.
